Eddie Choi

EDDIE CHOI

Eddie Choi is a science believer and a serial entrepreneur. He has been working in digital marketing all his life. He co-founded Mills in 2016. Mills is a Singapore-based design and experiential agency. Six months after launching Mills, the agency was selected by Google, Amazon, and Twitter as the preferred design agency in the APAC region. As an early adopter in digital marketing with over twenty years of experience, Eddie is frequently invited to deliver keynotes for global conferences and engaged by the global brands and organizations such as Pernod Ricard, Christian Dior, DuPont, Fiera Milano for strategy advisory, training, and consultation.

He is also the author of the book “L'unione fa la forza” published by Fondazione Fiera Milano. The articles written by Eddie are widely published by well-known media including Clickz.com,
E-consultancy, Exhibition World, Mix.

Enrica Baccini

ENRICA BACCINI

Enrica Baccini has a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and has been a researcher at Cermes "Centro Studi sui Mercati e sui Settori Industriali" of the same university. She is adjunct professor in Economic Policies for Organizations and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of CSCC "Research Center in Cognitive and Communication Sciences" of the Catholic University in Milan. She is director of the Study Center of Fondazione Fiera Milano. Previously, she was Exhibition manager of important international trade fairs. She has been Chair of the Education Committee of UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry).

She is currently coordinator of the Researchers Group of EMECA (European Major Exhibition Centres Association). She is part of the Strategic Committee of YES Milano, an agency for the promotion of the city of Milan. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Arexpo Spa - the company developing the areas that hosted Expo 2015 - and Fondazione Comunitaria Nord Milano – an organization that deals with philanthropy and promotion of giving.

Lucy Salamanca

Lucy Salamanca is a Colombian designer based in Milan since 1980s, from the beginning her work has been focused on the design area of trends and lifestyle. Her purpose is to implement and develop strategic concepts, exhibitions, events and interior design projects in a dynamic and rigorous relationship between space, object and people. Since 1995 she has worked as Art Director and designer for several Italian companies and has participated in the development of projects in different craft companies in Latin America, Asia and Africa. Consultant for exhibitions held at various trade fairs including Fiera Milano and Fiera Bologna.

She is co-creator of Homi, the International Lifestyle Fair of Milan, and has been its art director until 2019. At various stages of her career as a designer she taught at ADB Academy Design Bolzano, at Politecnico di Milano, at Belle Arti Academy in Bologna and at Accademia Fiera Milano.

Mark Parsons

Mark Parsons is a corporate financier and entrepreneur. He runs a big data business, Events Intelligence, which uses machine learning to understand the similarity between companies and help event organizers find new exhibitors for their events at scale. Understanding the connections between people, companies and industries and how these can be represented and understood using interaction graphs is a significant area of his current research. He regularly speaks at conferences and writes articles for the trade press on the impact of data on the exhibitions industry – recent articles include exploration of design thinking, value proposition innovation and how the marketing funnel is being transformed.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Econometrics, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK, holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and a MSc in Data Science from New York University. He is currently studying entrepreneurship at Cambridge University.

Marco Tchen

Marco Tchen was born in Bologna in 1971, where he grew up and received his education. After completing his studies in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bologna, he moved to China where he developed his career based on international trade and consulting. During these 20 years of experience in China, he has assisted many international companies, both in independent projects and in Joint Ventures. Since 2016 he has been President of Bolognafiere China, where he has been able to put his experience to good use bringing excellent results in terms of size and profits, as well as in locally organized events.

In 2017, India, a highly competitive market, was added to the subsidiary's tasks. In January 2021, it launched BFS China, the Chinese branch of the Bolognafiere Group's exhibition design section. The unit has grown and now has 10 staff including designers and salespeople. The business is divided between Bolognafiere group events and fairs and events of external organizers in China and around the world.

Multidisciplinary Consultant and Content Creator with many years of experience in the field of theatre and the entertainment industry. Her experience includes design and direction for a series of high-level productions such as Noor Riyadh international light and art festival, Grand Finale Riyadh Season “Leila, the Land of imagination”, National Day 2019 Saudi Arabia, Opening and Closing Paralympic Asian Games 2018 Jakarta,

Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto, three-time Compasso d’Oro award-winning architects, are co-founders of Migliore+Servetto Architects. From museums to exhibitions, from interiors to retail design, from urban planning to installations, their projects are developed around a new concept of cultural sustainability and through the expressive use of light and new technologies. Their works in the exhibition and museum sector make them one of the most important international firms in the field. They designed the permanent exhibition of the new ADI Design Museum in Milan, the Italian Pavilion “4 Elements / Taking care” at the 22nd International Exhibition of the Triennale di Milano “Broken Nature” and the Chopin Museum in Warsaw.
They recently designed the “Blue Line Park” in Busan (South Korea), 5 km of disused railway line overlooking the sea, transformed into a linear park with a strong connotation pointing towards hospitality.

In the field of interior design they have designed the new format store for dmail (Percassi Group), the new Mondadori stores in Italy, the “Experience Space” concept store for Bticino in Milan, the Luceplan store in Corso Monforte in Milan and many special installations for Max Mara, Tod's Group, Roger Vivier and Iceberg, in Italy and abroad. Among the many editorial projects developed over the years is: “Time to Exhibit”, a book published by Franco Angeli, in which Ico Migliore explores the new scenarios of exhibition design. Ico Migliore is Professor at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano and in the MID Master in Interior Design that takes place in collaboration with SPD Scuola Poitecnica di Design. He is also Chair Professor at Dongseo University in Busan; Mara Servetto is visiting professor at Joshibi University in Tokyo.

Andrea Manfredi

He was born in Milan, the city to which, after meaningful experiences abroad, he decided to return to work and to draw continuous inspiration from. In 1998 he founded his own studio, Antimeridian Design Consultancy, where he works on interior design and installations; a 360 degrees consultancy for events in the field of design and communication. The studio has distinguished itself from the very beginning due to the multiplicity of its operational areas it addresses, offering in a single solution, the experience and expertise of architects, designers and artists.

Andrea Manfredi is speaker in several conferences in Italy and abroad and teacher of Interior design at Politecnico di Milano and SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design.
He teaches Exhibit design at Accademia Fondazione Fiera Milano where he is also the scientific coordinator of the PROGEA Master.

Emanuele Guido

Graduated in Business Administration in 2003 at Bocconi University (where he also worked as Research Fellow), since September 2019 Emanuele Guido has been appointed as Director of the Lyfestile & Fashion Business Unit of Fiera Milano, in charge of the management of several exhibitions in the living and fashion sectors.
In previous professional experiences, Emanuele Guido has held various managerial roles in the exhibition industry, specially in the event management, marketing and international business development, both in Italy and abroad (USA, CHINA; INDIA, UAE).

Since October 2020 he has also headed the Strategic Marketing Department of the Fiera Milano Group.

Filippo Perfido

Filippo Perfido is an Italian writer, producer and manager born in 1972 somewhere between Bologna and Rimini. After establishing one the first indie labels in Italy in the 90s (Gamma Pop), he spent most of the 00s making TV and working for Rai 2, Rai 3, La7, Discovery and MTV, from award winning documentary series “Avere ventanni” to “YO! MTV Raps”.

Lately he's been CEO & Creative Director at GMAG Film in Glasgow and Creative Director at GVNG-HO in Milan, as well as working with several event management agencies worldwide, including BWS in Italy and KSA. He’s also co-produced two documentary films by director Marco Proserpio: “The Man Who Stole Banksy” and "Dope Boys Alphabet".

Enrico Gallorini

Enrico Gallorini is CEO and Co-Founder of GRS Research & Strategy, a company specialized in Business Intelligence, with focus on Customer Experience and Data Strategy.
Enrico has been an entrepreneur since young age, when he was 19 he founded "Unimind", a company specialized on events and services for university students and at the age of 24 years he founded "Quintegia", a leading company in the automotive sector for events, research and training. In 2012 he started working on Humanizing Data with GRS Research & Strategy, today the company is considered one of the most appreciated strategic boutique firms in the Large Events, Exhibition and Visitor Attractions Industry.

He holds numerous conferences and international university lectures on the topics of leadership, customer experience and data strategy.

Faculty member at Poli.design for Master in Brand Communication and International Master in Strategic Design. Faculty member at 24ore Business School for the Master in Marketing Management.

Former adjunct Professor at MIP, Politecnico di Milano Graduate Business School, and Director of executive programs “Product Management” and “Strategic Customer Management”.

He has worked in Milano and London, with a major in Management holds an MBA in Marketing Management and a specialization in Innovation at IMD Lausanne with MIT Boston and an Executive Program in Creative Leadership at THNK Amsterdam.

Matteo Fusco

Matteo Fusco is Beople’s founder and adjunct professor of Economic Policies for Organizations at Università Cattolica of Milan.

He’s an author of Circular Business Model and Business Design for SMEs, and the italian editor of the main international best sellers on Business Design, including Business Model GenerationValue Proposition Design and The Invincible Company.

He supports entrepreneurs and managers in efficient innovations through quick, measurable and replicable processes.

His job is to facilitate leader companies such as Enel, Tetra Pak, Poste Italiane, Banca Mediolanum, Bticino and the main Italian Trade Associations such as Confindustria, Confartigianato e Cna.

He has been designing and coaching courses in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Università Ca' Foscari of Venice, Università degli Studi of Udine, Università Bicocca of Milan and Sole24ore Business School.

Rana Rmeily

Rana Rmeily is an Experiential Visual Designer, based in Germany. She currently holds the position of Associate Partner at ATELIER BRÜCKNER, one of the lead scenography and exhibition design studios worldwide.

Working integratively with experiential visual tools, Rana seamlessly blends technology and design to create expansive experiences that emotionally engage people with their surrounding and each other.

In her work, she is committed to pushing the boundaries of traditional exhibition making by exploring new and innovative ways to engage audiences. “Space be it physical or virtual can be used as a powerful storytelling medium to create multi-sensory narrative experiences that provoke thought, encourage exploration and stimulate emotions.”

Rana believes that collaboration is at the core of any successful project, often engaging and exchanging with practitioners and cross-cultural teams working in the fields of architecture, industrial design, light design, and experiential visual design, in collaboration with artists, curators, historians and educators, as well as scientists, researchers, and technologists.

Rana has contributed to diverse and notable international projects such as The Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, The Museum of the Future in Dubai, The Nobel Prize Temporary Exhibitions in Dubai, and The Enigma Communication Museum in Copenhagen, among others.

Antonia Ventura Kleissl

Antonia Ventura Kleissl

Antonia Ventura Kleissl graduated in Sociology with a specialization in Urban Sociology at Università degli Studi Milano – Bicocca and has a Master degree in Management of Strategic Social Innovation at Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice.

Since 2002, Antonia works in Research & Development at Fondazione Fiera Milano, dealing with development and research projects in the socio-economic field. Over the years, she has developed skills in particular in the analysis of trade shows as tools of industrial policy, contributing to strategic, scientific but also educational papers, presentations and events.

Her specialization is the transversal understanding of phenomena and the detailed study of metrics in order to analyse the behaviour of players from different contexts and ecosystems. She focuses on the Design Thinking and Business Model Canvas methodology. She is a member of the GEI association - Gruppo Economisti d’Impresa – and she attends working sessions of the economic observatory of the association.

At Fondazione Fiera Milano she mainly focuses on fieldwork, research, creation of primary data and trend analysis. She also coordinates the Organization & Management module of Progea, master course of Fondazione Fiera Milano that trains future Exhibition and Event managers.

Cinzia Ferrara

Cinzia Ferrara, architect lighting designer, is the founder of Ferrara Palladino lightscape, lighting design firm based in Milan, Italy.

She has been President of APIL (Association of Italian Lighting Designers) from 2008 to 2014. She is professional member of IALD and member of the Steering Committee Europe.

She trained and practised as an architect before deciding to focus on the special relationship between light and architecture. Concerned with dynamics of human space and the role that lighting can play, she works in a big variety of settings, interiors and exteriors of any kind, approaching lighting to all aspects combining creativity, technical know-how with innovative and original design solutions.

She completed the MAXXI Museum project in l’Aquila, Teatro dell’Arte in Triennale, interior projects of Malpensa International Airport, Linate Airport and the International Airport in Venice. She just completed the interior lighting design of the Duomo in Milan, while she finished the exterior.

Recent works are “Punta della Dogana” Contemporary Art Museum in Venice with Tadao Ando, “Palazzo Grassi” Art Exhibition Center renovation with Tadao Ando, “Shoah memorial” with Morpurgo in Milan, Railway Stations renewal in Milan, Rome and Florence.

Cherif Moujabber

Cherif Moujabber, founder of Creative Expos and Conferences, has been in the trade show industry for nearly 45 years.

He previously worked for Horizon House, organizing shows in the US, Brazil, and Egypt. Later, he worked for RX /Reed Expo in diverse industries such as aerospace, healthcare, and food, and launched many shows in the Asia-Pacific region.

He then joined IDG, where he launched and managed over 40 shows in 18 countries, including MacWorld and Sunworld.

In 1993, he founded Creative Expos and Conferences, which now advises clients on launching shows and establishing an International Sales and Marketing Network.

Cherif has served on the Board of Directors for SISO and as Chairman of the International Committee for IAEE.

He is a recipient of several trade show industry awards, including the IAEE International Award of Excellence in 2014.
